I did. They do not seem to have a review of the LG. Were you able to find it?

In general, all LG non-oleds are the same. They work but have sh*tty blacks since they all use the same type of panel, while other manufacturers are using VA panels. You're not going to find any reason to go LG unless you wanted good viewing angles but sh*tty black reproduction.

As close as it gets ... the UQ8000 is there ... I'm assuming the 7590 was designed similar to the UQ8000 but it was specifically for Costco
All manufacturers do that ... slightly different model number for specific retailers.

There are current deal on Hisense U6GR (aka U6G with Roku) and U6H (both on Costco and Amazon for that one).
Check that thread with lot of discussion: costco-hisense-55-class-u6gr-series-4k- ... 9-2574648/

The LG UQXXXX models are the entry level models for LG and marketed as LED TVs so it is more than likely also uses IPS panels since "The LG UQ8000 is an entry-level TV in LG's 2022 lineup. It sits between the LG UQ9000 and the LG UQ75," as per rtings review of the UQ80. Both the UQ8000 and UQ9000 use IPS panels. IPS panels are vastly inferior to VA panels in terms of colours and blackness due to their low contrast ratios . The only thing that an IPS is better at than VA panels is the viewing angle as IPS panels have a wider viewing angle than VA panels.
Unless you have a big issue with viewing angles I would go with VA panels over IPS panels.
Hisense ULED TV uses VA panels so its visual display will be much superior to a LG LED TV.
For more on the difference between IPS and VA panels.

sometimes i think LG only has their IPS models so that you can say it's so sh*t they rather buy OLED and pounce on their latest.

I agree...they rather use the sh*tty IPS panes over VA panels on their budget models, so that OLED models difference will pop when you compare them side by side.
You might not notice that much of a difference if you had a VA panel and you compared it to an OLED model and less willing to fork over that much more money for an OLED to justify that slight improvement.

Different needs between computer gamers and TV watchers.
IPS monitors beat VA monitors in faster response time and refresh rates, which are important for gamers. (Not all that important for TV watchers.)
VA panels beat IPS panels in contrast ratio (measure of how black it gets). IPS only gets about 1,000:1 whereas VA gets 2,000 to 5,000, so IPS blacks look grayish rather than black. (More important for TV watchers looking for the best picture)

It is hard to find a TV with an IPS panel today. Everyone has switched to VA
Sony use to only use IPS and they are now all VA
