I put together a winter smoothie recipe round-up for you all today, as well as a few detox juices. I love the idea of keeping smoothie recipes seasonal and allowing the changes in the seasons to change up the usual breakfast routine.

Winter is the perfect time to enjoy a delicious and healthy smoothie. This time of year you can find really great citrus and tropical fruits so those are a natural for winter smoothie recipes. But there are some other unexpected ingredients like pomegranate and cranberries around this time of year that are great to throw in the mix as well. Have fun choosing which one you’re going to try first.

Healthy Green Smoothie

Monkeylada Smoothie

Description
When the cold weather produce of winter is what’s best I like to change up what smoothies I make. That’s why I rounded up these 18 healthy winter smoothie recipes. If there was one recipe from this round up to try, it’s this Fruit & Kombucha Smoothie. Kombucha, which is a sweet tart lightly effervescent fermented tea, blends into this fruit and Greek yogurt smoothie, for a probiotic-rich breakfast or snack.
Ingredients
UnitsScale
- 1 banana, frozen
- 1/2 cup frozen mango
- 1 cup Kombucha, any flavor
- 1 cup Greek yogurt, vanilla or plain
Instructions
Puree banana, mango, kombucha and Greek yogurt. In a blender until smooth. Enjoy immediately.

out of curiosity, Are these smoothies Warm or Cold, cause I know it says Winter Smoothies.

They are all cold. They are winter smoothies because they are made with ingredients that are in season in the winter.
